Colors, an eternal topic of debate for many dachshund breeders!
Piebald Dachshunds or Tiger Dachshunds are not new breeds, but rather a very old color variant.
We would just like to briefly discuss this and explain the colored dachshunds more via photos.
Colored breeding animals are already listed in the old family books from 1890.
The Piebald Dachshund is unfortunately very rare in Germany, but we will
we make every effort to breed the beautiful dogs in this color.
Piebald also means white spotted.
Tiger dachshunds are a little better known among dachshund lovers and breeders,
but also not that widespread. This color can also have blue eyes
or have one brown and one blue eye.
Something like this can happen because of the Merle gene that the tiger carries.
!!! IT'S NOT A BREEDING DEFECT!!!
You should never breed a tiger with a tiger!!!
deaf or blind puppies could fall
It's different with the Piebald Dachshunds, where Piebald and Piebald can be bred.
We would like to write a few sentences about long and short hair. In the USA is
There's nothing special about breeding a shorthair with a longhair, that's why
well thought out.
In some lines, the so-called short-haired pairs are created through constant mating
Leather ears.
The fur there has become so short over generations that it looks like suede.
We also want to try to solve this problem, but not with our matings
to arise. That's why every now and then a longhair meets a shorthair
(who carries the longhair gene) is bred with us.
In the pictures you can see our breeding dwarfs and puppies
